For decades, Lloyd Copelan Garage Doors has been proud to serve our community directly. When you call us, you are speaking to our office staff right here in Yucaipa or to our owner herself. There are no call centers, no third-party dispatchers, and no middle-men.
But recently, that hasn’t been the case for some of our customers.
We have been made aware—and we’ve unfortunately experienced it ourselves—that fraudulent third-party companies are using our name online. They are setting up fake numbers, posing as us, and telling customers they “serve” Lloyd Copelan Garage Doors.
This is a lie.

Today, our office manager and the owner decided to put this to the test. We called one of these “fake” numbers and asked if we could get Lloyd Copelan to come out and service our door. We asked multiple times, and they repeatedly lied, promising that “Lloyd” would be the one coming to the door.
They aren’t us, and they aren’t sending us.
It is deeply upsetting to see our professional reputation being used to trick people. We want to be incredibly clear so that none of you fall victim to these scammers:
